Learning to drive

The requirements of the Driving Test are very strict as a result of the Government’s Road Safety Strategy. Learning to drive is not an easy task. It requires a lot of hard work and patience from the student and the instructor. Tuition must be structured to meet the needs of the trainee. This is what we provide at Arkwright Driving Tuition.

Arkwright Driving Tuition

Arkwright Driving Tuition was established in 1994 by Michael Dazeley who has been instructing in cars since 1972. Michael is a member of the Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers, a tutor for the Northamptonshire Group of RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders, and a member of the Wellingborough and District Driving Instructors’ Association. He also holds the Adult and Further Education Certificate and the NVQ Level 4 Learning Development Certificate. He is registered as a Road Safety Tutor, a Pass Plus provider and is a member of the Motor Schools Association of Great Britain.

Arkwright Driving Tuition uses manual drive Vauxhall Corsas which are flexible and easy cars to drive.

The main catchment area for the driving school includes the Wellingborough and Rushden areas but other arrangements can be made.
